Description: Part 1 O agrees to go with his beloved Rene to the castle of Roissy shrouded in a mysterious secret. Arriving in Roissy, she is introduced to the strict rules of the castle. She is blindfolded, whipped and forced to sleep with various men in the presence of her lover. In his love for Rene, Oh, with calm pleasure and devotion, meets all the surprises of castle life. The thought of Renee allows her not only to endure all the rudeness that men torment her with. Part 3 Gradually, O begins to understand that Rene gave it to Sir Stephen. months pass, and O becomes acquainted with the tendencies, rituals and practices of Ser Stephen. Review: Pauline Rage’s Roman – "The Story of O" has spawned an Istria from the very beginning, opinions on which are highly divided. Born in 1907, the writer denied, almost until her death in 1998, her authorship of The Story of O, and confessed it only four years before her death. For many fans of eroticism and literature about sadomasochism, "The Story of O" is a fairy tale for adults. Since its first publication in Paris in 1954, this story has been heavily debated, denied by some and praised by others. And the society of supporters of the subculture of sadomasochism saw in it their cult novel. "Story O" is awarded the French literary prize "Deux Magots". To this day, this novel remains for many people a classic introduction to the practical world of sadomasochism. The novel has been translated into over 60 languages. This is how the New York Times marked the publication of The Story of O as "an event of outstanding significance."
