Description: Adaptation of the novel "The Farmer" by Jim Harrison. Limping after a childhood accident, Dennis Hopper works as a school teacher and does some housekeeping on his farm. He is seduced by a seventeen-year-old student (Lokane), taken away from the big city by her father major (Busey) away from the opportunities available there. Hopper, who has loved the widow (Irving) of his best friend who died in the war all his life, could not resist. The reprehensible connection was revealed, but he himself says that he loves them both, but in different ways. Youth irresistibly attracts men of age, and many works of art are devoted to this. This variation wins in many ways, thanks to good actors and some shading plot components.
