Von "Rasputin – Orgien am Zarenhof" gibt es prinzipiell zwei verschiedene Fassungen. Eine Softerotik, die VIP auf VHS ver’ffentlicht wurde mit einer Laufzeit von ca. 90 Minuten und eine Hardcorefassung, die von Tabu vertrieben wird mit einer Laufzeit von ca. 80 Minuten. Herzog ver’ffentlichte auf DVD einen Zusammenschnitt dieser beiden Fassungen, die nunmehr eine Laufzeit von ‘ber zwei Stunden hat.
Dieser Vergleich bezieht sich auf die Hardcorefassung mit der Herzog DVD. Ein Unterschied ist recht interessant. Von der ersten Szene der Offiziersorgie wurden zwei verschiedene Fassungen gedreht. Eine etwas softere, die wohl f’r die Softerotikfassung bestimmt ist und eine etwas Freiz’gigere. Auf der Herzog DVD befindet sich nur die softe Fassung, w’hrend die Freiz’gigere wohl exklusiv auf dem Tabu Tape zu finden ist. Zudem wurden einige Szenen verschoben. Diese Stellen (und auch Alternativszenen) sind im Schnittbericht blau gekennzeichnet.
